Each year at AACC a team of students volunteer to lead Amaranths annual journal issue. The student-led staff is in charge of coming up with a new creative direction and layout for the journal, organizing open-mic nights, reading and voting on student submissions, and advertising for journal events. As students graduated and new faces took their place, the one constant desire that inspires the staff is to create a community for those who love the arts. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the journals, it is an honor to showcase your work.

Claudia Editor-in-Chief (They/Them)
Claudia is a creative writing major at AACC. They joined Amaranth to be a part of a community that were centered around the arts and one that acted to uplift them. Their favorite writing style is prose and confessional poetry.
Nick Managing Editor (He/Him)
Nick is a teacher education major at AACC. He joined Amaranth because he wanted to expand to new mediums and meet new artists. He’s a big fan of filmmaking, short stories, rats, and superheroes.
Jay Website Manager (They/He)
Jay is a film major at AACC. They joined Amaranth to find a community of art lovers and broaden their horizons. He mainly writes poetry.
